The Online Alumni Association of the International Summer School “Greek Language, Culture and Mass Media” in collaboration with the University of Eqrem Cabej and the Department of Greek Language, Literature and Greek Culture, is organizing, the 6^th Junior Summer School in Argyrokastro, from the 25^th to 28^th of August 2025.

The conference will be held under the auspices of the International Summer School “Greek Language, Culture and Mass Media” and the “Social Issues, Mass Media and Education Laboratory of the Department of Preschool Education of Ioannina University and supported by Study in Greece.

Specific title :

Gloss AI & Artificial Intelligence

Indicatively, the conference program will focus on the following axes:

– Ethics and Deontology in the use of AI

– Language Systems: Use and Exploitation

– Digital Literacy

– Digital and Smart Technologies: Applications, Dynamics and Tools

– Artificial Intelligence and Arts: Divergences and Convergences

– AI and Journalism

– Communication and Communicative Approach in an Era of Technological advancement

Distinguished academics, journalists, politicians and artists will honor the action with their presence and participation. The program has been planned and organized by the committee of the Alumni Association of the International University, under the scientific supervision of Mrs. Nikoletta Tsitsanoudi – Mallidi, Founder and Scientific Director of the International Summer School Program, Professor of Linguistics and Greek Language at the Department of Preschool Education, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Ioannina.

REGISTRATIONS

The Junior Summer School is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, educators, while it also accepts a percentage of professionals with relevant interests within the framework of lifelong learning. All participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance and provided with educational material. Various parallel cultural activities will also be included.

Potential speakers are invited to submit their presentation proposal in Greek or English [title, abstract up to 200 words], along with their professional affiliation, by 04/05/2025.

All participants are invited to submit a participation request to the Organizing Committee.

Registrations will open on Friday, 28^th of February and will close on Sunday, 4^th of May, 2025.
